GCE Examination Timetable Written and Practical June 2020

The Cameroon General Certificate of Education (GCE) Board recently released the examination time table for the June 2020 GCE Session. This new timetable contains major changes as the previous one becomes obsolete due to the delay caused the coronavirus (COVID-19 pandemic).

General Subjects of Ordinary Level and Advanced Level

Start: Tuesday June 2
End: Saturday June 20

This is found in the decision No 782/19 signed by the Minister of Secondary Education on October 28, 2019. The calendar, setting the timetable for official examinations organised by the for 2020 session has been published.

What’s New in GCE Examination Timetable Written and Practical June 2020?

The decision No 787/19 of MINESEC/SEESEN/ SG/DECC/SDOEC of October 28, 2019 signed by the Minister of Secondary Education, Nalova Lyonga, sets the timetables for official or end-of-course examinations, when they will be written, marked and deliberated upon as well as deadlines for the publication of results.

When will GCE 2020 Official Examinations begin?

According to the calendar, official examinations for the 2020 session will begin on Thursday May 14, 2020 with the written part of the Common Entrance Examination into Form One General and Technical Education.

June 2020 GCE Examination timetable Written and Practical

When will Industrial CAP 2020 examinations begin?

In the same vein, the preparation for the practical phases of Industrial CAP examinations begins on June 1st and ends on June 6, 2020. This will follow with the written part from June 8 to June 12th 2020. Oral for the bilingual option of BEPC takes place on June 8, 2020 and continues with written session from June 9 to 12.

When will 2020 Common Entrance examination begin?

The 2020 Common Entrance examination into Form 5 Technical and Form One BEP shall take place on July 27, 2020. Teachers’ Training Examination into CAPIET will be written from June 8 to June 11, CAPIEMP from June 8 to June 12 and GTTTC Competitive Entrance Examination from June 22.

When will GCE Ordinary and Advanced Levels 2020 examination begin?

GCE Ordinary and Advanced Levels examinations begin with the practical phases from May 5 to May 30 and written parts from June 1 to June 19, 2020. BACCALAUREATs A, ABI, C, D, E and TI will be written from Tuesday May 26 to Friday May 29, 2020.

Orals will take place on May 29 and the writing of optional papers on Saturday May 30, 2020. Probatoires A, ABI, C, D, E and TI will be written from Tuesday June 16 to Friday June 19, 2020.

When will 2020 industrial examinations begin?

The different 2020 industrial examinations organised by the Ministry of Secondary Education will take place from May 26 to May 30, 2020. Industrial professional examinations will be written from May 5 to May 8, while commercial professional examinations will run from May 5 to May 9, 2020.

The Minister of Secondary Education has also underlined that the calendar of sports practicals will be fixed by the regional delegations from April 20th to May 15th, 2020.
