Elizabeth Tekeh new album (latest album)
The top Cameroonian gospel musician who has been described as “the Agatha Moses of Cameroon” has taken to her social media accounts to announce the release of her new album (5th Album) after more than 10 years since the last one. Elizabeth Tekeh’s new album which is highly anticipated has been teased by her, including phrases like “husband snatchers” referring to ladies that are having affairs with married men. The album is said to contain four (04) tracks. Who is Elizabeth Tekeh?
Elizabeth Tekeh Biography
She was born in Ekona of parents who hailed from Adere Village in Nwa, a sub division in Donga Mantung Division of the North West Region. She is married to Martin Tekeh (a Pastor) and they have 02 children (a boy and a girl). She uses one of her songs to thank the Lord for the supportive husband she has. The family used to live in Munyenge Village – Muyuka Sub division where they practiced Cocoa farming before the onset of the Anglophone crisis. With the onset of the crisis, they relocated to Buea – capital of the South West Region. She worships at the Full Gospel Mission along with the husband who is a Full Gospel pastor.
Her musical career
The musician who has always expressed her fear and gratitude for the Lord has blessed many lives with her musical career. She has released four (04) albums with 32 credit tracks and is at the verge of releasing the fifth (5th). Her first ever album was titled “Jesus is my security” which contained eight songs was first aired in 2004. Since then, she has released three more albums including overwhelming song like; Naked I came to this World, My Destiny, When the Holy Ghost Comes, My God is Able, It is not by might. She has teased on her new album which will be released ten years since the last.
She uses her music to minister to people in churches, crusades. Without any formal training in music nor being from a musical background, she gives credit to God for her songs – “I sing by the inspiration of God”. Taking he career very serious, and with support from her husband, the shooting of the first album took place in Nigeria – Enugu.

With more than 13.5k followers on her Facebook page, she uses the social media in her spread of the gospel. She made use of social media to publish the Press Release “Sis. Elizabeth Tekeh Extends Profound Gratitude to her fans” which she used to announce the coming of her fifth album. She also uses these platforms to talk about various activities where she will be and has participated including church activities (especially of the Full Gospel Mission).

Elizabeth Tekeh challenge
Her name has made rounds in the internet recently in what has been called the Elizabeth Tekeh challenge (#elizabethtekehchallenge). She did mention of her toil and suffering in one of her songs which has been massively used by youths while referring to suffering. This has even introduced a new slang amongst social media users who use the work tekeh in place of suffering. She has commented on this by blessing anyone with any initiative in her name.
She has expressed her joy and gratitude to all her fans, supporters, brethren and family for their support and encouraged all to glue to her official social media platforms for more information about her new album and its eventual release.
